Elmorelab
While most projects rework Lineage 2 to suit their needs, ElmoreLab does the opposite — it restores the game to its original state, even running on restored original code. Chronicles here are updated gradually, and the server experiences the game's evolution together with the players. Below are the project's active servers and their features.
ElmoreLab grew out of the hobby of a programmer known as Master Toma, who undertook refactoring the original Lineage 2 server code from the C1 era — not a Java emulator, but the actual source code, cleaned of memory leaks and skill bugs. This resulted in "museum servers": x3 Bartz opened on March 3, 2020, as a retail experience, x1 Teon — on September 30, 2022, as a hardcore world with chronicle progression, where players relive the journey from C1 to Interlude and beyond, and on Teon, multiboxing is also prohibited. In May 2026, the project launched a new x3 server on Interlude with a subsequent transition to Kamael. ElmoreLab Harbor lives as a separate branch with an "eternal" C1 x1 server. The audience is niche and predominantly Russian-speaking: players come here not for online records, but for the most accurate classic experience without accelerations or simplifications.
