Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 9, 2026
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. This policy describes which cookies l2buff.com (the “Site”) uses and how to manage them. Questions: admin@l2buff.com.
1. The Site's own cookies
The Site does not set its own cookies for regular visitors. The only first-party cookie is the Site administration's session cookie (l2buff_token), which appears only after signing in to the admin panel and is required for that panel to work. Catalog visitors never receive it.
2. Third-party analytics cookies
For anonymized visit statistics, the Site uses third-party analytics services — only after you consent in the cookie banner. Until you consent (and if you decline), their scripts are not loaded and no cookies are set. The services:
- Google Analytics 4 — cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visitors and sessions;
- Microsoft Clarity — cookies such as _clck and _clsk for the visitor identifier and the current session.
The lifetime of these cookies is defined by the services' policies: https://policies.google.com/technologies/cookies and https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.
3. Why we use them
Analytics helps us understand which parts of the catalog are in demand, where visitors come from, and what to improve. The data is anonymized: the Administration cannot see who exactly visited the Site.
4. How to manage cookies
- decline analytics in the cookie banner on your first visit — the choice is remembered in your browser (localStorage) for 12 months; to change it earlier, clear the site data in your browser settings and the banner will appear again;
- block or delete cookies in your browser settings (the “Privacy” section);
- use your browser's private mode — cookies are deleted when the window is closed;
- opt out of Google Analytics on all sites at once with the Google Analytics Opt-out add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout;
- use tracker blockers (uBlock Origin, Ghostery, and similar).
The Site is fully functional with cookies disabled — they are not required to browse the catalog or submit a server.
